Sustainability Using cutting-edge, multimedia technology, BESL provides documentation and process analysis services for project design charrettes (coordination with all stakeholders for a project design), construction operations, team meetings, and support activities for both future and existing facilities. BESL can help you design a project documentation plan that will meet all requirements for LEEDTM and other assessments, and will work with your project team to assemble documentation throughout the project. We can also assist in post-occupancy evaluation of facilities in terms of occupant satisfaction and sustainability performance. BESL provides technical assistance to identify improvement opportunities in existing buildings, including operations, maintenance, and renovation. By combining its research in sustainability measurement with cost models for built facilities, BESL researchers can identify improvement opportunities in built facilities, explore economic and sustainability implications of those opportunities through scenario building, and prioritize opportunities according to economic feasibility and sustainability "bang for buck" analysis.
